★★★★ 'Daniel Rigby is astonishing. A performance like this is a rare gem not to be missed' The Independent
An Anarchist has fallen to his death from a police station window. The question is: did he jump or was he thrown? As the police attempt to avoid yet another scandal, a mysterious imposter is arrested and brought in for questioning.
Seizing the chance to put on a show, he leads the officers in an ever more ridiculous reconstruction of their official account, hilariously exposing the cover-ups, corruption, and profound idiocy at the heart of the police.
This classic farce by Dario Fo and Franca Rame storms the Theatre Royal Haymarket in a bang up to the minute version from award-winning writer Tom Basden and director Daniel Raggett.
Skewering everyone from the Metropolitan Police to the metropolitan elite, and with a tour de force central performance from BAFTA Award winner Daniel Rigby, this is a show that will leave the West End breathless.

Not for the right wing! A wonderful retelling of this 50year old Italian play, with some great up to date references. A play that entertains and challenges you to think about your own views and attitudes. Wonderful lead actor, who commands the stage.

A much needed and very successful localisation of the (sadly) still relevant Dario Fo&Franca Rame’s masterpiece. Brilliant cast, outstanding performance, witty and clever localisation- the anarchist is still an Italian, which left room for a funny musical impromptu. Loved the clever scenography. As an Italian, I felt I had to take my 11 yo to see it and she too thoroughly enjoyed it. We had lots to talk about but also lots to laugh about. Thank you for a wonderful night!

Brilliant re translation and stinging update. A powerful production. A realistic set which turns half cartoon as the evening unfolds. Slick slapstick punctuated with diabolic facts and harrowing figures. A feat of ensemble playing encompassing Daniel Rigby's Maniac: a performance of manic energy and commedia dell arte precision. His character and pitiless playing, skewers the audience, we "wokerarty". Satire at its political finest. Comedy, coupled with Inquest's spinning data, inverts belly laughs of recognition to horrified astonishment. Not to be missed.
